Robert Vohra Attorney Received His J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center


Robert Vohra Attorney, is now a Managing Director at Longstreet Worldwide LLC, in their Washington D.C. office.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & International Economic Relations from Columbia University, New York, and later graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. with a J.D. and LL.M (Taxation).  Robert Vohra has previously worked at Sherwood Capital Corporation, Fairfax (Virginia), and Vohra & Associates, PLLC, Washington, D.C. He holds a Real Estate Salesperson license and a Life & Health insurance license in the State of Virginia, and has been admitted to the New York, California and District of Columbia Bar.

Immediately after completing his postgraduate degree in law in May 1990, Robert Vohra Attorney started working with Knapp, Marsh, Jones & Doran, Los Angeles (California) as an associate. He was assigned to the company’s business transactions department and was given the responsibility of researching and drafting memoranda and opinion letters on the issues of international tax law and international trade. While holding this position, he also drafted and reviewed agreements related to corporate acquisitions, cross-border business formations, real-estate transactions and corporate restructuring.  He negotiated positive settlements on a substantial litigation load and obtained considerable reduction in the foreign and domestic tax liabilities of several clients.  In March 1993, Robert Vohra Attorney went to work with Shawn, Mann & Steinfeld, Washington D.C. as an associate where he later became partner. He represented the firm’s clients in corporate finance, arbitration, litigation, and various transactional matters involving all aspects of international and domestic tax planning.  

Robert Vohra Attorney also drafted private placement memoranda for exempt transactions and offered a range of services related to compliance with SEC reporting requirements. More recently, he has been a partner at Vohra & Associates, PLLC (2004 to 2006), and Thiemann, Aitken & Vohra, LLC, Alexandria, VA (1997 to 2004).
